Family House

A small-scale, nature-close family house in a small settlement on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, set on the gentle slope of a vineyard hill. The orientation and spatial organisation of the building are defined by the panorama opening toward the valley: the interiors connect gradually to the garden and the surrounding landscape, while the large glazed surfaces frame the view. The simple, clean volume follows a contemporary form, yet its scale and natural materials fit the vineyard-hill setting. The restrained combination of timber and rendered surfaces creates a warm, homely character, while the terrace and covered outdoor spaces form a transition between the living areas and the landscape.
